My Story: "It was back 27 years ago in the summer of 1995 when I was invited to an In Home Workshop while living in Pearl City, HI. I was instantly amazed at Heat Embossing and was hooked. After sharing and creating with friends and neighbors it was such a joy to see the smile on their faces. So after I moved to Silverdale, WA in Aug 1996 I did the same thing. After me and friends had placed a large order together of over $300 during Jan 1997 while SU! had Sell-A-Bration the order never came to us. Contacted that Demonstrator for over 3 weeks in a row and never heard back. So then I called Stampin'Up! and let them know the situation. They took care and sent us all what we had ordered and even our freebies of SAB in April 1997. On The first weekend of June 1997 I was invited to a "In Home Workshop" by my downstairs neighbor "Ruth" and the Demonstrator was Nancy Rikkers; after asking a couple of questions I made the decision to sign up. I had to do a Yard Sale to sell items I had made and created to raise money to purchase the kit on a strict limited budget. During that time frame the Kit cost was about $289.00. During that time frame you didn't get to choose what was in your the Kit (it was called Standard Kit). This choice was one of the best decisions I have made. I have met so many people whom I would have never; plus I have earned 12 Incentive Trips, Fax Machine and Stamps & Bonuses. I have been all over the world for Conventions, Trainings and Etc. But the best thing of All is the Friendships & Love I've received through my 25 years as a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator and more to come."
